This is a beautiful 6" fillet blade with a high polish finish. The blade has a nice flex which makes filleting jobs a snap. I have changed the handle’s design a little since it will probably not be used in the upside down position often. I have kept the finger ridge on the index finger side of the handle, and on the thumb side of the handle I have put a groove that allows the users thumb to really help control the action of the blade. Its size also makes it great for many other uses. This is a great camp or camping knife. I made one for my wife as an all around kitchen knife because of its size and balance. It would be great for boning out legs of venison or lamb. Any place a light well-balanced blade is needed, this is the knife for the job.
