Elk ivory knife handle

Two knives kept on the brown surface.

A beautiful and functional way to use your trophy

A beautiful and functional way to use your trophy

Elk have the unique feature of having ivories. These are commonly taken as part of the trophy experience. Once harvested, these unique trophies often languish in drawers, or on shelves.

Knives kept on a bark.

A beautiful and functional way to use your trophy

Now you can find a a functional and beautiful way to remember the hunt, and  the animal. I will inset the ivories from your animal to create an elk ivory knife handle for the blade you choose

A knife kept on a surface with a moose in the background.

The ivories are fit to the handle where I usually put a ridge to add indexing and control.  Choose the wood you want. It can be wood you send me, a wood from my stock, or a two tone of maple and walnut to represent the coat of a mature elk.
